Day 5

5/365-"It's good to try new things, Mom." He tells me this after insisting I try one of his marshmallows. It seem he is quite wise with advice like this and questions like, "Why is this man's name 'Made in China?'"

Day 4

4/365 Went on a daddy daughter date tonight with my dad. We went to Harry Potter, which was bitter sweet, enjoyed the movie, but can't wait for the rest! Then to dinner at Claim Jumper and a little shopping at the rack. It was fun to spend time just with my dad and get to talk with him. I sure do love him!

Day 1

1/365-The excitement of seeing a penguin up close. Adam commented later,"I think he was diving close so he could have some of my snack."

Both kids took naps this morning, so once they woke up I knew that we need to get outside. Lucky for us, it was nice and clear so we could enjoy the outdoors. We headed to the zoo and had a blast, looking at the penguins, snakes, bugs, "reptiles and mamuals" as Adam calls them. We even ran into some good family friends the Gillets. On the way home we stopped for some yummy dinner at a place called Jersey's.The food was super yummy and both kids were happy with the salmon they had, which seems to be both Adam and Matthews' favorite food at the moment. Good thing we are in the northwest, it might be much harder to come by when we get back home to Minot.
